It gets on my nerves when people call Feige ‘the greatest producer of all time’ when if we look at the state of the industry in his wake, I think he might low key be the worst thing to happen to Hollywood movies maybe ever. But I’d still give him credit for his success.

If WB haven’t cancelled it by now, they’re clearly riding this storm out. They must be really confident in this movie. Like,once-people-see-how-good-this-is-all-will-be-forgiven! confident. They just need to offer the judge a free screening

Not trans, just non-binary, I believe

Steamboat Willie enters the public domain in 2024, so in a few years every streaming service can have live-action King Kong shows and live-action Mickey Mouse shows-

On the plus side, we asked for shorter shows, didn’t we?

A teacher played this movie for us in High School. A girl I really liked loved it. I fucking hated it, lol. I realized then it never meant to be... I may give it another chance someday, but Killer Clowns from Outer Space is forever etched in my memory because of this. My first deal-breaker.

I thought Pinocchio was coming out during the holidays. It’s in a couple of weeks? I’ve seen very little marketing for it. How bad is it?

And the outlandish behavior thing seems to stem more from ego than acting, since they almost never have anything to do with working on a scene. Even if it’s something harmless, like Lady Gaga not dropping her accent for months while shooting House of Gucci, it’s silly, and for a musician-turned-actress who’s

The lesson here is Jared Leto ruined method acting for everyone. Andrew Garfield is 100% right about how internal it is, and the last thing it should be doing is getting movies bad press. I love method acting, and I’ve got the same guidelines you do, which is why it’s important to have that third:

Y’all clownin’ on a Steve Urkle cartoon when you know you would have loved it!

It wasn’t a total disaster, so that’s a plus. The money is on the screen, and they are taking it seriously. But I’m not sure what to make of it just yet. House of the Dragon looks like GoT, and sounds like GoT, but doesn’t quite feel like GoT to me. It took half the episode before I could shake the sense I was

Heh. I agree. For a lack of a better way to put this, there is something to be said for groups of people that are easy to clock (for storytelling purposes, of course!) But to be fair, for a non-book reader like myself, all the regions and ‘houses’ in the original show still took some time for me to get familiar with.

The premiere was fine/ok until this moment at the end. I audibly wondered why they would do this??!

Ha!

“and your name is a damn typo.”- ok this made me laugh

The remakes, I mean

well said

you’re basically assuming that audiences will see the words “Day Off” in the title, hear one of those “Bow bow ohhhhh yeah”s off the soundtrack in the trailer, and have some sort of Pavlovian reaction forcing them to check out the film
