Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs seems like a wild choice, but him as the dad in that was really good

Not taking oneself too seriously is very endearing to audiences. Looking at some of The Rock’s comedies, he may have followed the same path. And it could be working out for John Cena very soon.

I thought the team-up against Homelander in the earlier episode (Herogasm?) felt like a bigger, better fight than the one in the finale. But the season was great overall

Exactly. And since Black Panther is in my Top 5 Marvel movies, I don’t even hate the pick. As the only major lead actor the MCU lost, the historic performance will be saved in amber, so there’s a logic to this I can get behind. But if we are talking character, not cultural impact, then everyone mostly agrees he was

I thought she was brilliant in Room. And I’m really glad it was the first thing I remember seeing her in, because that has given her a Free Pass for me for whatever else she has fumbled.

20-1 Review: Lol

40-21 Review: You guys gotta calm down over Agatha.

I can understand being down on Will this year, but I found Noah Schnapp’s performance in-freakin-credible. My emotions! A lot of good performances this season. Max, Steve, Nancy, Hopper, Dustin, Lucas, Eddie, and Eleven all get gold stars from me.

Right? Lol

Will’s gotta know he himself is the heart. (but when you’re in love, you’ll say what you gotta say ;) Dustin is the brains, Lucas is the cynic, El is the weapon, and Mike is the leader because he was most brave. Or used to be...

I agree about Eddie’s plot, which is why I’m not as broken up about his departure as others. But I also agree with the consensus that the actor did a good job, and I did think he felt like a natural part of the gang towards the latter half of the season

60-41 Review: This section is ominous for the rest of the countdown to me because dumb, jokey characters are starting to rank really high...

It will take some self-discipline, but I’ll probably wait for streaming on this one. I’m at a point where I’m only catching these in cinemas to get ahead of the spoilers, and I’m realizing not a lot of Phase 4 has been spoil-worthy anyway. Sooner or later I’ve got to stop flocking to everything Marvel puts out. Of

Well said

80-61 Review: If the cartoons are gonna count, this is game over for X-Men. The best versions of every one of them is animated- including Wolverine.

100-81 Review:

The Punisher is a tricky one. Should we let the alt-right co-opt him and that’s the end of that? Bernthal, the comic creators, just about everyone involved with the character has denounced those associations. There’s an active effort to reclaim Frank Castle because most people feel that no, the assholes shouldn’t be

I keep saying it, but the Daredevil movie does some things better than the Daredevil show, namely how it depicts his blindness and his powers.

Zero Dawn was my 2017 Game of the Year, and Forbidden West is great, but I still like the first one better. I think it’s more streamlined, whereas FW has added a step or two too many to just about everything in the combat, and it’s a bit more of a grind. Resources, unlocks and upgrades all feel like more of a chore.
