Those who recommend Elden Ring are the type of people who assume everybody loves ridiculously difficult games. This is what’s been weird to me.

Without spoiling too much, how’d you do? The game’s a little on the easy side and I still lost 2 counselors and the whole Hacket family! I think The Quarry might actually be better than Until Dawn in some respects. I was more attached to these characters, and I thought the story was a lot tighter. And with 186…
I suspect The Quarry’s steep price tag is going to keep a lot of people at bay ($70 on PS5!) But once it starts going on sale, hopefully people will check it out, because the story is awesome.
This is gonna be wild
I’m fine with this. Very mixed on Season 1. I wasn’t feeling the inanimate talking items.
But the List Slides spoils the suspense! ;)
The blurbs for these songs are really well written. And the selection is mostly solid. But it’s lame not include Elvis’ cuddliest track: “(I Just Wanna Be Your) Teddy Bear”
It’s the one Elvis song that makes me snicker. Hearing it, thinking about it. Everything
Obligatory shout out to G.I. Blues
Even though it wasn’t the horror experience some might expect, I really liked Gone Home. As a case study in environmental storytelling, is something everyone should check out
I’m very mixed on Before the Storm, mostly because of the way Rachel was characterized (she’s basically a psycho), and the story with her parents just doesn’t make a lot sense by the end. The same might be said of the first game (The writing throughout the LiS franchise is up and down) but I do like Before the Storm…
I could see it.
So, I think the D+ is a bit harsh, but I understand. Having two eras of characters meet for the first time can be a dream come true! But this works best when both casts are well liked. The film really overestimates how much we care about Owen, Claire, and Clone Kid. So we have all of them, plus the old guard, plus…
To signify the unseen violence with a pool of blood is always a great technique. But a pool of vomit? I’ve never seen that before.
I was actually worried and getting upset. I don’t love the Sally character, but I would have been PISSED if they murdered her like that. Maybe I do like her after all? These confusing feelings...
Exactly
Hot Take: restraints might actually make Deadpool funnier.
Thank you for this!
I appreciate what he’s doing. Unfortunately it won’t move the needle. If he wants to see change, he’ll have to run for office. As we’ve learned, no experience necessary. Just flash those pearly whites. He’ll get the votes.
