Look at him. Not a care in the world... Even without the context, I wanna hit him lol

I didn’t know studios had any say on that kind of thing. Personal publicists and managers maybe, and even then, I figured they could only “strongly recommend” but not force it. I mean, it’s an image-based industry, so I get it. But it sounds to me like the way Mom might force you to wear your Sunday best for church.

Exactly! And to be fair, I enjoy a few of their crazy drinks. They’re like mad scientists. But this one is a miss

Unlike chocolate-based candies (butterfingers, reeses) I would say the sugar for something like this is way too rich. You can practically feel yourself getting cavities from every sip! (when the chunks don’t clog the straw) I mean, it is what it says it is: a liquid version of the candy, but damn the sour really comes

Yes!!

Do NOT try Sonic’s new Sour Patch Kids Float. It’s gross!

That’s a good point about Creed.

Vote out the incumbents at CW

Now playing

I’d be shocked if Zimmecks (who I’m increasingly losing faith in, by the movie) could deliver a Monstro as good as the original. The ebb and flow of escaping the whale is up there with Fantasia for me as some of Disney’s finest combination of animation and sound.

And, similarly to how The Lion King lost something with expressive faces, it won’t be near as good

Good or bad, I want Tron: Legacy here. It’s in the name!

I had a lot of disappointments with Bill and Ted Face the Music, but my main one was the missed opportunities with its historical figures that basically don’t do anything. I also felt that even though Winters slipped back into Bill rather easily, Reeves didn’t quite have that “Ted!” energy to him.

Does Mad Max: Fury Road count? That goes with Top Gun Maverick, and Borat 2 as my favorites.

With multiple viewings, I’ve tried to force myself to like the original Top Gun, but it just doesn’t happen. It’s overrated to me. However, this sequel is something else entirely...

This is me as well. They seem to think gore = better (and maybe some audiences are reinforcing that idea) but I think you nailed it with creepiness being the horror’s appeal, rather than the outright violence. However, if the theme is they are going for 80s slashers this season, at least these grisly choices are

I can’t say I mind Olivia Colman being in everything, tho

Is it casting or is it the scripts? Shouldn’t they be demanding that more older roles be written?

I remember Mr. Robot postponing an episode because it depicted a news reporter shooting similar to something that happened just before it aired. Buffy also had an episode or two effected by this sort of thing. I suppose Netflix or Disney could have delayed their premieres if they wanted, but maybe streaming operates

No kidding. Neither effected my enjoyment of the shows, but living here in the heart of it, and hoping to take my mind off things, it’s as unfortunate a coincidence as anything I can remember in recent pop culture. One show ok, but both on the same day?? It would almost be funny if it wasn’t so sad. And this got me

I live in Texas, and it definitely came to mind...
