Ah! (That’s good...)

Yea, Top Gun:Maverick is probably going in my Top 5 as well. What a movie

Leia, it’s time to go- Whoops! It was a trick! She’s off running in the woods, as “I-wish-to-be-free!” music swells for her Introduction. If there was ever any question about the ownership of Star Wars, this is the Disney-est moment you’ll ever see in this universe.

Same for me. I skipped Boba Fett, but I was looking forward to this. Unfortunately, from the chase scenes with the little kid to jumping off the roof like Batman, there was so much cringe... The Inquisitor actress in particular. How can that be an acceptable performance? Who’s directing these??

This has been the worst week...

If conservatives are about to force us to lose one right protected by the constitution (abortion/privacy) I don’t see why liberals can’t answer back by forcing them to lose a right of their own (guns). They’ve obviously opened the door to fucking with national fabric now. Make it backfire.

Also look for phrasing like “18-year old Black man” vs “18-year old white kid”. They have all sorts of little things they do. And I suspect if this shooter was white, he would have been taken in alive.

Indeed. And those traits distract from the fact that he’s smarter than I’ve given him credit for. The way he misdirected Mike’s crew, as they pulled security off ‘low priority’ details like Jimmy and Kim completely threw me. He’s playing a chess with Gus, and making moves I don’t expect.

Right?

Black Panther 1 (one of my favorite MCU movies) could have really shined as a standalone, while they move on and focus on their other heroes. But, like the Fast and Furious after Paul Walker’s death, the need for the franchise machine to pump out more content is too strong.

Id’ say they goes for Collateral as well. That may have been the one movie where we saw the real Tom, lol

Barry, and by association Fuchs, getting sidelined changes a lot of the focus. One of the reasons this season feels different is in how it’s giving the other characters what they want. Sally’s got her own show. Cousineau is working again. Hank’s in a relationship. These are big changes, maybe fundamental ones, because

I was entranced by the dirt bike stunts (presumably all real) and wasn’t paying attention to a word said in that scene, lol

1. That may have been the best long con I’ve ever seen. (If there are any other shows with similar schemes on this level, I’d love to hear ‘em)

Well said. I’ll accept this as his unofficial eulogy.

I also thought this. (and the cartoonish jab would have been a nice touch, haha)

They might make it look like a suicide, which people would probably believe based on his last few weeks. *sniff* This is me best-case-scenario-ing this thing.

I’m confounded, by this question, but I shouldn’t be. The fact that this racist piece of shit is popular says a lot...

I’m looking forward to a take that’s a little more “super.” One thing the Daredevil movie did better than the show was its depiction of blindness, and how enhanced his other senses are. That barely came across in the Netflix version.

Not only will they be back, they’ll probably take up half the plot and become superheroes too!
