so if i didn’t watch season 1 of love life, can i just tune in for season 2? when i saw harper was gonna be the star of the second season i thought i should get caught up but i don’t feel motivated to watch anna’s season atm. i’m assuming it’s fine since it’s an anthology?
Crunchyroll - A streaming service dedicated to Japanese anime. A few years ago, they launched the Crunchyroll Originals line, with High Guardian Spice as their first project, but the last to air.
I don’t usually pull this card but, uh, imagine that ONE scene with, say, Nadja instead of Nandor. That got a little...not great, imo. Solid ep otherwise though.
“...the BALLS on that chap...”
I also have always suspected that Nandor is also afraid of what Guillermo would be like as a vampire. Guillermo is deadly, capable, manipulative, feels no remorse and he’s a human.
it reminded me of back when Weeds brought guest musicians on to cover their theme song, “Little Boxes” :’)
That was really cool. It reminded me of the Greek version of “Number Three” by They Might Be Giants.
Between the vampire who selled “magical herbs” to protect against sunshine and now Jan, vampires really do fall for all sorts of scams don’t they.
Really liked the Farsi(?) version of You’re Dead on the opening credits. I checked the closing credits, but I didn’t see any info on who recorded that.
Another excellent rendition of the intro song!
The return of creepy paper!
This started a little slow for me but the “One Week” montage sold it. They could easily have made this a two-parter but I suppose it’s better to have one episode where a lot happens.
I could watch the Nandor dancing aerobics scene on an endless loop and never get tired of it.
We knew this must be a Very Special Episode with the unprecedented alternative version of its theme song, “You’re Dead”, right at the start.
I liked her showing everyone the door.
Guillen and Novak really brought it to the screaming argument in the car about deserving to be happy. It’s impressive when such comedic actors and hit the heavy notes so well.
Cree Summer was amazing. I don’t know the process for choosing guest-stars on this show but I don’t think they’ve ever went wrong in their decision. You always want to see more of these one-off characters. I really hope she comes back with a new scam in a future season.
I’d get mad at you, but nothing you’ve written here hasn’t already been written a thousand times over by conservatives and nervous allies over the last fifty years. And they all turned out to be just as wrong as you are.
Fuck off, bigot.
