Yes.

Has there been that much buzz for Cruella? It looks to me like an attempt to ride the coattails of Maleficent, which was itself an attempt to ride the coattails of Wicked.

And WHERE is LeVar Burton?? Honest to god, Jeopardy.

This. Is. A. Good. Thing.

Pay. No. Mind. To. The. Scolds. Who. Hate. Joy.

All of this makes me wonder what Amanda Crew’s and Suzanne Cryer’s experiences were like on the show, as the two main female cast members.

That whole “speaking as a man, it’s kind of scary” response to the #MeToo movement should have been a huge red flag.

Oh, I get it, and bad-faith attacks like that are part of why I’m kinda regretting my comment. But at the same time, I’m overall just tired of trying to come correct in a morally complex world yet most of the voices for just causes are people yelling at one another for not trying the right way.

I get that but then why toss out vague accusation? You’re still accusing them, if the person being accused has power they’re still going to take it out on you. You’re basically still protecting them while putting a target on yourself.

I mean, the message there is “TJ Miller was abusive and most people on set enabled that.” Enabling could mean anything from turning a blind eye to active participation; neither are good, but they’re far afield from one another.

She once referred to Nanjiani as “the worst”. Considering that she was working with TJ Miller (who is a violent monster) and Middleditch (apparently some kind of pervy sex predator), what does “the worst” mean? Like, he used the last of the coffee creamer? Or he’s a serial killer?

This whole situation in Hollywood feels like a new Chris Rock bit. “’I ain’t never sexually harassed/assaulted anybody!’ What do you want, a cookie?!? You’re not supposed to sexually harass/assault anybody, you low-expectation-having motherfucker!”

Is it “pointing out” anything to state your unrelated opinion? It’s the internet, fair enough. As is my response. I can scroll past a comment I don't like? Cool. You can likewise not comment on an article. We CAN do anything we like, as far as posting goes.

So TJ Miller wasn’t the only scumbag on Silicon Valley. I will cry if Martin Starr turns out to be a sex creep too.

A couple years ago he talked about in an interview how he convinced his wife to start “swinging” and yeah...  Any time a man “convinces” a woman to be non-monogamous it’s a major red flag. Nothing against poly people, but everybody involved should be enthusiastic about it.

“Consenting to one thing doesn’t mean you consent to everything” is, like, 101-level and you still managed to fail.

Assume that all goths are sexual predators, be surprised when somebody points out that it’s a stupid and dangerous generalization, win stupid prizes?

Oh please don’t let Nanjiani and Starr be creeps too :(

I don’t have a lot of hope for that anymore after the different creepy things I’ve heard...at this point I am holding out hope that his circle of friends isn’t complicit, because some of them that would be really sad (ben schwartz, don’t disappoint me!)

Kumail booked a Marvel movie and spent the pandemic chillin’ with his wife. Don't lump him in with Sex Offender Alley because he works out. Who cares if he used PEDs? He didn't hurt anyone.
