For me this season of AHS started off great, but then spent too much time in the past building Michael’s story.  Now this all great and powerful anti-christ is going to get beat somehow in 10 minutes.  This assumes that the first part of the episode tonight deals with his cronies starting the nuclear holocaust.  I

I didn’t know that was a cover! Love that theme, he also performed in Luke Cage in a highlight of the series.

I did the Cringe a lot of times this ep.

His cover of Black Sabbath’s “Changes” is the theme song of the hit TV show, Big Mouth.

I know most worship Asylum but I never quite understood the point. Too see that someone else feels as if the alien storyline was shoehorned in is reassuring. The alien storyline should have been the main one not an afterthought.

I really don’t understand the season’s story structure here at all. I can get doing an in media res opening with the apocalypse to tell us that it is coming and won’t be stopped and then jumping back to the backstory. But why spend three whole episodes in the bunker and then backtrack to spend what’s now the majority

This is the world’s tiniest pet peeve, but I wish the show wouldn’t explicitly lay out parallels to previous events in either the “previously on” or in flashbacks. We didn’t need the whole “this is objectively great” exchange from the pilot in the previously on clips - we all know Rebecca is calling back to that

This summer I moved in with my mom to take care of her and we’ve been negotiating which of my weird shows we’ll watch together and which I’ll watch in another room. The Good Place, which I thought she might like, was a total failure. She went to bed an hour early the second time I put it on. Legends of Tomorrow

“Narc-er Posey” was also a good one.

Another great episode and another great review.. I had a rough day and this show cheered me up—even though I’m a lawyer!

They’ve been providing commentary on this spot for years, back when this site was worth something. You decided to make this you one and only post.

THIS IS WHY YOU DON’T END SEASONS ON CLIFFHANGERS.

It also means Marvel’s only show about a solo black superhero is now about how he goes from being a hero to running a criminal empire.

Ah this is a true shame. Luke Cage was enjoyable, if a bit over-rated. It also felt super important and I was very curious to see what direction they were headed in season 3.

that sucks ass. last season wasn’t great but it set up tons of cool stuff for season 3 to completely screw up in new and unforeseen ways

I like to believe Pillboi started working at the Aloha Tech Center after he renounced crime and whippets.

Jeremy Bearimy” has to be part of the 8% Doug Forcett didn’t get right back in the 70s

Tobey Maguire was a great Peter Parker, and he had the benefit of being in two great Spider-man movies.

I see he’s been working on his New York accent. There’s a clip floating around from a couple years ago of him visiting a children’s hospital in character and he could only recite lines from the movie in his American voice and had to switch back to his English accent for any other conversation. Not that the kids

I’ll just leave my own mashup here that nobody else will listen to.
