Did anyone else catch the “wee little puppet man” reference? (Ben Edlund, who wrote this episode, also wrote “Smile Time” for Angel).
Loved the “little puppet man” line. Neat throwback to Angel.
Marsai Martin, Fishburne’s Black-ish castmate, would be perfect for this show.
Revising the movie in post so that Carrie Fisher dies onscreen when she wasn’t originally slated to die in the movie at all is the antithesis of “dignified.” Dignified is getting to enjoy her final performance in its entirety, unmarred.
Finally an instance when shooting video in portrait rather than landscape is apropos.
I really wish Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend Of Korra would come back to Prime. I miss them so.
Gotta be Greedo.
Eastwood ... Ed Wood ... There’s a pattern here. Maybe people named E. Wood are physiologically incapable of directing a second take! *Gets out tack board and red yarn*
I think so & that is consistent with her deliberately getting Danny’s Iron Fist name wrong. “Let’s go, Ironclad.”
I know people thought it was weird, but I just took those names as Jessica mocking them.
Wait a minute! No comment on the hilarious “happy tats for manatees” - best pun ever?
Love you, Maya.
I once had a conversation with a fellow student who argued that if an act gives you personal satisfaction, it is no longer altruistic. I’ve always thought that was incredibly dark; just because I’m happy I made another happy, it’s suddenly null and void? To avoid being mind-numbingly depressed, I have to believe…
Hank literally shrinking a building down and then rolling it away had me in stitches. It’s so silly. It makes no sense—just like that scene with the tank in the first one—but I love it. Hank’s so smug about his tech; it’s a rad take, and it’s my favorite Hank Pym characterization.
I had the same thought as the Pez dispenser was flying through the air, but I was also giggling like a ninny, so I think I’ll be perfectly happy with it.
YATTA! \o/
I want to see it with Heroes by Bowie. C’mon internet!
Thought of that too: there was criticism of not casting a Pakistani in the role.
