Approx 10 years ago I was in Rome in the summer time and damn is their subway brutal. It is hotter than the wheel well of a ford bronco smuggling criminals into mexico, and PACKED, oh is it packed. Every stop every tries to squirm their way near enough to the door to get some air. it was horriawful. I cant wait to go

Thats a lot of extra weight buddy. Plus don't forget all the extra weight from batteries, inverters, wiring, computers on top of the diesel engine and interfacing hardware required to make it a complete hybrid. I swear all of you with a Prius need to shut the fuck up on anything science related

Ridiculously awesome?

IS it just me who thinks that image is is very much unspectacular?

Having "Meatball, because I taste like a meatball" as a nickname...Yeah, it's that kind of thrill #thenewTLX

Meanwhile in Russia...

2001 Pontiac Grand Am

If the Brits can't be pompous and slightly recast, who can. I think its discrimination against British culture to try and deny them their right to be asshats.

Hey Andrew, here are some more things you may find "surprisingly slick":

"Renault Twizy Cargo, huh? Doesn't look very lean-up-againstable..."

To be honest I really don't like the Gulf livery on modern cars.

The other one just looks like a concept car that failed at being beautiful by looking too much like the original. This one looks like Will.i.am got his hands on a 2000CS and killed it just like he did with the DeLorean.

The first one is less bad than the second. The problem with the first is that the car obviously needs bumpers of some sort to "frame" the front. It looks like someone simply pulled the bumpers off.

Neither, but then I've never really like the CS's buck-toothed grille.

Yeah, I don't prefer either.

Can I choose neither?

"Right full rudder, reverse starboard engine, and bring a change of shorts for all officers in the control room.."

"I will live in Montana. And I will marry a round American woman and raise rabbits, and she will cook them for me. And I will have a pickup truck... maybe even a "recreational vehicle." And drive from state to state. Do they let you do that?"

I fell in love with submarines and submarine warfare thanks to that movie. And then subsequently fell in love with all of Tom Clancy's novels thanks to Red October. Thanks for the awesome post!!!

I've always thought that the Mig-29 was one of the prettiest fighters out there. I'd have one.
