I could not agree with you more on what you just said, well done.

I approve of this! That would have made the impact of the DQ much more believable.

I loved all of the Stargate shows - SGU was awesome. I loved how differently it was filmed than the rest, the characters.. I only wish SGA hadn't been cancelled so it could be made. Rodney McCay is by far my favorite SG character.. and Doctor keller.. Because Jewel Staite is amazing.

I think that's why she got the promotion when they returned to the AQ. Starfleet took away her ability to captain and gave her a desk job - publicly a promotion is good but on a personal level getting sidelined would have bothered her - she's a scientist
