Everytime I look at a teardown of a modern ICE it becomes remarkably clear why automakers are so willing to move to simplistic electrics.

This type of bearing does not move. It’s more like a cap.
enginebearings are stationary (should be). A spun bearing is a bad thing in engines. This sounds like the process for removing the debris is the root cause. Whether it’s a vacuum or a blower, something is not right
Maybe I’m an idiot, but aren’t bearings supposed to rotate? Isn’t that like the whole point of bearings?
I really wanted the alligator.
Don’t look at the picture, don’t look at the picture…
Welp, I guess we’ve finally found a reason not to buy the Cybertruck.
Official parade car for the Leopards Eating People’s Faces Party.
Oh no, how dare people who drive cars... “us[e] all the range there is”? I fill my ICE cars’ gas tanks to the top, and refill when they’re down to about 10% capacity, and that’s just what you do with cars. If it’s considered “abuse” to do the same thing with a Tesla, well, that just means a Tesla isn’t really a…
So wait until they’re under $10k?
Way high, especially the truck portion even though a nice combo. Sounds like one of those, “I put it up for sale honey, but had no takers.” You’d never get my wife in one of those - $70k buys a lot of nice hotel rooms.
I think the solution here is for people to buy more guns so they can easily replace their old guns when they’re stolen.
King was awesome. I have a special love for “cop car” dogs (black and whites)
Too bad King isn’t still around, this year might have been his “big score”. He loved picking Cicadas off the lower tree branches and gobbling them up. In the pic, I was negotiating with him about coming into the house. Since it was like 95 outside, getting him to come in was almost impossible. He loved to bake in the…
Surely a truck built to handle Mars can handle some bugs...
Just a few days ago, up in Albany, some moron driving an ATV on a pedestrian path hit a student, and now she’s in the hospital in a coma with a TBI. Alexa Kropf, University at Albany student from Floral Park, in medically induced coma after hit-and-run - Newsday
This has absolutely nothing to do with the type of car you buy but what type of person buys certain car types.
