I don’t know. I’ve heard his skating has declined a bit over the years.

It’s crazy. Almost every school, even small ones, have a historical roster for their sports teams on their website. I probably wouldn’t even bother checking, but one time a dude “played” at a school where I knew a guy that played during the same time. I mentioned his name and got that deer-in-the-headlights look and a

Nice article.

Alternate Headline: Why dressing casually is worth the comfort.

My godfather is also president of one of the largest syndicates (think distribution, loans, gambling, and racketeering). Don’t want to tell exactly for obvious reasons. He still drives a Cadillac because fuhgeddaboudit.

I don’t like food snobbery either, but not wanting to eat at Olive Garden doesn’t have to be snobbery. I mean, I’ve had decent food there and eating there once in while isn’t bad, but I wouldn’t choose it myself.

This lawsuit is just trying to “disrupt” the market.

Whatever you say, Madoff.

Would Guentzel, Rust, and Sheary look the same playing without Crosby and Malkin? I mean, they certainly look legit, but I wonder if the Pens are hitting on prospects or if their centers just make average players look great.

The Ford patent you mentioned is just a published patent application, which appears to have gone abandoned.

How will that happen in the face of cheap oil and high barrier of entry in the auto industry? Tax incentives were/are put in place to support the policy decision that electric cars are better for society. Perhaps you disagree about the policy decision, but I don’t see a problem with using tax incentives to support

I think it depends on the car seats somewhat. Most experts recommend keeping your kids rear-facing as long as possible and convertible car seats are pretty bulky. Even with my larger sedan, the car seat removes almost all of the leg room of the seats in front to the point where a taller passenger can’t use the seat

Dude gets punched (slapped) by the ref after being held by his own teammate. Don’t do that. Step in between to break up the fight. Don’t restrain your teammate or buddy’s arms and help him get hit in the head.

Why do people even feel the need to haze the new guy? I think a lot of times it’s because they were hazed themselves or feel they need initiated to be part of the crew. It’s so dumb especially for dumb jobs. I worked a shitty retail job and people felt the need to call me proby and rook and try to pull some hazing

But the guy in the video appears to be on dry pavement, not snow, gravel, etc. ABS senses wheel lock and releases extremely quickly and, my understanding, is that it has the same effect as free wheel, not full lock as you assert. This is what allows better control and steering compared to full lock.

I don’t think this is true. Wouldn’t full lock braking lock up the wheel such that the tires are skidding? Isn’t static friction lower than rolling friction? As you mentioned in another reply, I think threshold braking often times results in shorter stopping distances than ABS, but requires practice and is not

Nah. He said this: “Seattle is just about as far as you can get from most of the rest of the country. There’s not another major city farther north, unless you count Sarah Palin’s rootin’ tootin’ frontier.” Clearly talking about the U.S. when referencing the “country.” The confusion and hurt feelings are

“the rest of the country”

Nice straw man.

“Pens honestly got lucky”
