Lighten up, Ferdy.

Leon asking if the TV had picture-in-picture was A++++++++++

Her name was “Gabby”. How could Larry think whatever secret he told her would be safe?

This one had me cackling with laughter lol...

saw this last night and jeffrey wright has a monologue about food and loneliness that very nearly drove me to tears. loved this one a lot.

Isle of Dogs was FANTASTIC... Mr. Fox, not so much, lol.

I run hot-and-lukewarm on Wes Anderson, but he’s still appointment viewing for me. Isle of Dogs was one of the most delightful times I’ve had at a movie theater in the last few years.

Small stakes in the Ant Man films and yet Scott Lang personally saves half the universe in Endgame.

Not a bad take though, they showed their working.

Ant-Man & The Wasp is my favorite MCU film, just putting that out there. Inventive action, fun characters, great jokes, and it’s one of the few MCU movies (including its predecessor) where the fate of the world isn’t on the line; it’s just about Hope/Hank trying to find Janet and Scott trying to not get caught evading

As I clicked link to expand the replies, I was thinking “I hope someone mentioned that Upgrade stars Logan Marshall-Green, aka the Poor Man’s Tom Hardy.”

I feel it is incumbent to add that Upgrade’s Logan Marshall Green is a dead ringer for Tom Hardy.

Have you seen Leigh Whanell’s “Upgrade”? I saw that first and only decided to see Venom when folks said it was basically a lesser version of Upgrade. Fairly accurate, and that made it worth a watch.

I think I finally get why people say Cumberbatch does a bad American accent, but even then I still like it.

Well,

Yes, finally! What If…? goes total downer ending, like it’s supposed to. Easily my favourite episode so far.

I felt that everyone performed adequately, but there was no standout this week who REALLY seemed to be getting into it. Every other episode has had someone who really seems to be letting loose: Atwell in Ep 1, Hounsou in Ep 2, Douglas in Ep 3...this episode was missing that standout, but everyone did pretty well.

The only thing that confused me about this episode, was the premise that Christine was supposed to die. Yes I know this is a What If universe, but in our (sacred?) timeline Christine doesn’t die, so it’s not like she HAS to die.

Let’s hold out hope that Multiverse of Madness has some inspired visual effects along those lines.

“He uses his turn signal while driving? They still crash. He takes a different route? Still crash. He lets her drive? They crash. They skip the event and get pizza? She gets shot by a mugger. He decides to not pick her up at all? Her house explodes.”
