Charging $60 was likely Activision’s decision, not Fireforge’s, and it’s highly unlikely that Fireforge made any royalties off the game, so that wouldn’t have mattered to them anyway.

To be clear, the bankruptcy likely has very little to do with the actual Ghostbusters game - as you can see from reading the article, Fireforge had a long, troubled history before that. I would guess that they took on this licensed project as a quick band-aid, but found themselves bleeding to death nonetheless.

Oh they played the game, and gave it an M — it says so in the article. The E on the back is a misprint.

It has to be, though I could see a master being printed correctly, getting approved and then having a joke accidentally sent for printing.

or maybe.... and i’m just spitballing.... they’re hesitant because they’re seriously immersed in a zombie infested world?

Well yea it looks awkward and stupid when you’re just watching. But then so does an orgy. Still worth it though.

Yup, it looks incredibly dorky but there is so much potential.

You say its light-years ahead and yet still demean it.

Well of course it’s going to look dorky when you’re watching the players from outside the headsets.

Hire security for a public park?

fuck em! There are plenty of hours in the day to have fun. And there are thousands of people in those apartment buildings trying to get sleep before work/school.

And this isn’t a “4th of July” thing where it’s just once a year and just an occasional boom/pop (and even then, this month we only had ONE asshole who decided that, at 3 am, hours after everyone stopped doing any fireworks, it was

4th of july is one night that everyone knows is coming a year away. This has been like this every night for almost a week now.

It was released in the perfect storm of nothing else really worth talking about. E3 is over, and most big releases will not be until the end of August at the earliest. So sit back, relax, and enjoy a couple more weeks of this.

I take it parks don’t close over there after a certain hour? Where I live if your found in there after sundown they will first kick you out with a warning and afterward if they catch you coming back they issue you a ticket for trespassing.

1) Maybe.

In an online competitive game you’re paying to be a part of the community. If you start fucking that community up, then you get kicked out of the community. Don’t cheat and you’ve got nothing to worry about.

I love the idea that these despicable people rushed home after plopping down $50-$60 on a brand new game and were instantly banned again. “I’ve spent $200 on this game, and I can’t play it! I just want to be able to cheat and feel superior to others while simultaneously ruining the game for everyone else. Is that too
