Uh-Oh

If it weren’t funny in some form, it wouldn’t have become a meme in the first place. Especially coming off of the loons claiming to be wolves with xe/xer pronouns. Genuinely unfunny things get ignored and forgotten. You not seeing the humor doesn’t mean no one else sees the humor.

lol. The people that pointed out that that pointed that got fired for being an absolutely awful person to a respected member of the community for no good reason (who also got fired from a previous company for essentially being a cancer in the office) are not necessarily the same people who are telling everyone to

Sorry but that’s a false equivalence. CD Project Red quickly apologized for the tweet. The person you refer to doubled down on the initial behavior that people found unpleasant.

To be fair, do you actually want a team of all white game designers who have likely had little to no interaction with black culture to write for black characters? Another Polish delevoper, Techland, did this with Dead Island and as it turns out when your entire interaction with a group of people is based on

“these days you can’t say anything” Always seems a bit overblown to me.

I disagree that the tweet is transphobic.

While it’s not my place/nor right to tell someone whether they’re offended or not. I do feel that we’ve spent so much effort and energy on fighting microaggressions, that we forgot to fight normal aggression and now it’s sitting in the White House and walking the streets carrying tiki torches.

But will it run Crysis 3?

“There are women out here in real life that do have these body types.”

I think the real issue here is that they didn’t own it, but rather tried to deflect pretty heavily. I think Yoshida really nailed it by saying that his character designs are entirely because he likes pretty girls; it’s straightforward, honest, and admits that the designs are not meant to appeal to everybody. No Total Recall, Predator, Interstellar, The Martian or Event Horizon, but we do get Dune, AI and Buckaroo fucking Banzai?

Probably not really, but I just wanted to be reminded that wrestling games are fun.

Today, PUBG’s Developer was first exposed to the videogames industry, apparently.

Isn’t Blue Hole a developer of one of the larger Korean MMOs? I wouldn’t exactly call them a “small company”.

Are there similarities beyond the general idea of the mode? I mean, PUBG wasn’t the first battle royale game.

Um, the battle royale concept is from popular culture so it’s the public domain, no?

oh the irony of this is hilarious.
