I think the “misogyny” comes more from the show implying that Dany decided to go mad because Jon didn’t give her the D.

Nope. Thousands of innocent people died and Kings Landing is destroyed all because Jon Snow wouldn’t fuck his aunt.
Not avoiding violence is quite far removed from murdering thousands of innocent civilians just because you feel like it. Before this, the violence always had a purpose. I saw a comment somewhere else that pointed out why this was poorly executed. Dany went from a Stannis with dragons to a Joffrey with dragons in 2…
I expect people will view it similarly to Lost, which also has a significant part of the fanbase that hated how it ended.
Sigh... Do you even know what you’re talking about? Nobody is arguing the idea that weapons can reload.
You do understand that Rhaegal was no no longer in front of Drogon after he took a dive after the first three bolts? As in, when Dany was flying straight at them and they shot like 20 bolts at her at the same time?
But this is just you making stuff up. There’s no reason to believe Beth’s phone hadn’t actually died. As for the phone charger, obviously she didn’t have one for plot reasons. How else would one contrive this misunderstanding?
What annoyed me was that Henry’s actor couldn’t be bothered to pretend to kinda lean on the stick he had to carry around the whole time because of his leg injury.
The beauty of this fight scene is that Dex really isn’t going toe to toe. Matt is kicking his ass in hand-to-hand combat. Dex only starts winning when he starts throwing stuff at Matt. Then, when they’re in hand-to-hand combat, Matt is winning again, until Dex throws the scissors into Matt’s shoulder.
It’s not like they’re pretending he’s not stalking her. They called this out in this very episode when he ironically asks whether she’s stalking him. Plus, they’re very obviously portraying him as a psychopath who WILL hurt people.
Nah, I’m mad my beloved character, if he had to go, isn’t gone. Now I have to pretend he’s out there somewhere but he won’t do everything he can to get back to Michonne and Judith? It’s just a bad way to send off your main character.
Yeah, same here. I shot up out of my couch and then laughed like an idiot for two full minutes. Best jump scare ever.
Arrow vs. Gatling Gun. Arrow wins.
She was still willing to let Bellamy die back in Polis.
Agreed. I hate when writer give characters a big sacrifice for redemption and then don’t have the guts to actually see it through.
That’s a great way of putting it. It’s not just that she tried to protect Maddi, but that she basically fucked over everyone else she cared about was dumb. She leaves Bellamy to die? Really, writers? She allows Raven to be tortured? Really?
Considering how she had been trying to reach these people throughout the six…
Hah! Maybe they would always run a shower as they were taking a shit? As it seems the sound of falling water cancels everything else out.
“Octavia didn’t tell you about the hydro farm working again!”
“No more bloodreina!”
*Octavia burns hydro farm, removing their only food source*
The argument becomes silly when you turn it on its head though, because wouldn’t you agree that a trans man should be able to play a cis male role?
Gay actors are also allowed to play straight characters though... I don’t see a problem here.
