Not avoiding violence is quite far removed from murdering thousands of innocent civilians just because you feel like it. Before this, the violence always had a purpose. What annoyed me was that Henry’s actor couldn’t be bothered to pretend to kinda lean on the stick he had to carry around the whole time because of his leg injury.

The beauty of this fight scene is that Dex really isn’t going toe to toe. Matt is kicking his ass in hand-to-hand combat. Dex only starts winning when he starts throwing stuff at Matt. Then, when they’re in hand-to-hand combat, Matt is winning again, until Dex throws the scissors into Matt’s shoulder.

It’s not like they’re pretending he’s not stalking her. They called this out in this very episode when he ironically asks whether she’s stalking him. Plus, they’re very obviously portraying him as a psychopath who WILL hurt  people.

Nah, I’m mad my beloved character, if he had to go, isn’t gone. Now I have to pretend he’s out there somewhere but he won’t do everything he can to get back to Michonne and Judith? It’s just a bad way to send off your main character.
