I think Tournament is best left for late on, for when you’ve acquired plenty of kung fu techniques. I have the original edition though, and IIRC the DLC was not integrated into the main game, so take my advice with caution.

It Follows

“Which team are you on? It or The Thing?”

Get out.

We are posting on the AVClub on a Friday night, I’m pretty sure none of us are getting to third base tonight.

Does The Passion of the Christ not count as a horror film?

Strange as it may seem, they give successful movies nowadays very peculiar names.

Thanks so much for the mention and for highlighting this superb classic game!

I love the way Shinigami Apple Merchant can make those games we got so frustrated with as kids and make them feel special because of, rather than in spite of, their design. I loved Space Quest; the humor in a science fiction setting was important to make me feel like I was getting a worthwhile narrative-I never felt

Vice-like fingers.

And now for What Have You Finished This Week? For me, it’s an adventure game that’s been on my backlog for quite a while— Gemini Rue. I really wanted to like this one, since adventure games and I go back a long way, and this one seems to have one or two interesting ideas... but ultimately, it just doesn’t work out.

We got the mechanics down, but tried rushing and got sloppy. Overall, we were way more successful than I thought we would’ve

Haven’t played any games since last weekend, I was out of town for work and heading out of town this weekend with my wife and get family. Really could have used a Switch!

I WANT SEA OF THIEVES MORE THAN ANYTHING. I love the sound of working as a team to navigate a ship and explore an island. And sea monsters and pirate ghosts!!!! That and Cuphead having me seriously eyeing Xbones...but TWO online monthly charges? Maybe not.

Question about Cuphead then for Matt - is it actually fun? The more I see of it the less it appears to be an entertaining platform “romp” and more like a guided, repetitive slog across some wonderfully animated backdrops. The developers have been at it since 2010 I believe, so if that were the case that would be

Salutations!~

Congrats on the Top 10 finish! And best of fortune in the hazardous world of Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds survival /cheer. ABF- Always Bring Frying Pans©: It could save your butt life!

Alright, fine, I finally broke and decided to buy Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds. I did the Steam trial (buy, refund in under two hours) a few weeks ago, but this week I decided to go all in.
