I don’t believe that the rhythm game community runs on speed. I know a few good players and they don’t take any “supplement”. I am not saying that it doesn’t happen, but if it does it is definitely not a specificity of rhythm gamers.

The whole SNK pixel house style is due for a comeback and I say BRING IT THE FUCK ON. Far and away my favorite art style

Where you cool enough to play Wipeout with one of these? I sure was!

It should be said though that the design of the user interface in the first two Wipeout aged poorly. The one in Wipeout 3 probably aged better because it was so minimalist in the first place.

We used to play Smash Brothers in our college dorm, and none of us had any grounding in Pokémon so we just made up names for the things that hatched out of the pokeball item. Some said their names intelligibly like Snorlax and Bulbasaur (sp?). Some... Not so much. To me, this Pokémon will forever be known as Floppy
