So the kids are still saying pwned these days? I guess that makes me feel a little less old!

So... the name “Vapor” is something I assume is an internal name, right? Because naming a Steam rival (Water) Vapor seems really silly. Also the fact that “vaporware” is negative connotation for ghosted games.

To each their own.

Defo: finding fault before something happens is kinda derivative

Breaking news: Larger scope of project means it is harder to complete!

I mean, there’s always the opportunity to make a movie that isn’t a complete piece of shit.

Maybe Mel Gibson can direct. James Woods and Kevin Sorbo can star.

I think the point is that as long as people like Lauren Boebert, Josh Hawley, Margery Taylor-Green, Ted Cruz, Jim Jordan and Mitch McConnell keep getting elected, and you keep voting for the party that literally tried to overthrow a legitimate election, you’re part of that party. Until and unless the collective ‘right

please cast actual voice actors.

...what’s with the negative-skewing articles about this game on Kotaku? And lack of review?

As silly as it sounds for a game entirely about being a spider, there’s actually an arachnophobia mode that might help, which turns the spiders into innocuous blobs:

Not quite. I recommend you read an article on this from another source. This Kotaku piece doesn’t cover the full scope of the ruling, which was really a mixed verdict. Apple can’t prevent Epic or others from advertising alternative payment channels, but Apple still isn’t required to let them back in the walled garden

You have to add the rest of the ruling though, Epic won’t be able to make use of any of the payment ruling so far because Apple doesn’t have to let fortnite back on the App Store and they don’t have to give Epic back their developer account.

... What an awful solution. The feature is great for helping bring smaller streamers a larger audience, giving them an opportunity to shine. If say someone with a 5k audience raids someone with a 500 person audience that’s views, ad revenue, potential subs. Why take that away because some asshole is being an asshole?

“It’s actual writing is mediocre in its best moments, and dreadful at its worst.”

I didn’t read past the spoiler warning, but this is basically my take away as well. Not to say that constructive critique shouldn’t be dished out where it is needed, but relevant context need also be taken into account when doing so: you can compare an indie game to Skyrim, especially given The Forgotten City’s

Unless I’m missing something, the regulations here don’t just target ‘Big Tech”, it’s targeting video games in general. It’s like if the government clamped down on kids reading books, and your takeaway was that it’s good that Amazon’s taking a hit.

I agree there are examples where more regulation should have or could be used, but not to this level.  This is opposite extreme and no better for it.

“Obscene and violent content and those breeding unhealthy tendencies, such as money-worship and effeminacy, should be removed.”

Now playing

What a corny death for such a great character. He should have died from heat stroke during Zion’s final sexrave, preferably dancing like a cyber goth. Then fade to black.
