Umm...hate to burst your PC safe-space bubble, but the events that occurred in Charlotte was a riot. Black hoodlums looted restaurants and liquor stores, smashed windows and cars, and even tried to push a photographer into a bonfire.

It does not help the cause when there are protests (riots) because a black man was shot and the initial story is “oh, he was reading a book”. The facts come out and....no he fucking wasn’t. At the point where someone has been killed, and multiple instances of looting are reported, it no longer seems appropriate to call it a “protest.”

I live in NC and don’t recall ever seeing one of these things. Thankfully.
