Umm...hate to burst your PC safe-space bubble, but the events that occurred in Charlotte was a riot. Black hoodlums looted restaurants and liquor stores, smashed windows and cars, and even tried to push a photographer into a bonfire.

Or they would focus on facts. And realize this wasn't some guy reading the good book at the time he was randomly shot by a skinhead cop
Dear whatever you are,
“Maybe if we keep calling this obvious riot a “protest,” people will actually believe that it was peaceful despite the shooting, looting, and rampant violence! Kinda like how we say ISIS has nothing to do with Islam!”
Now I understand that white people are evil and they will do anything to keep dark people poor and in jail but if we can forget about the white devil for a minute. Why is it OK for a black guy to assaulte a journalist and no one bats a eye. He’s a protestor who’s angry a white (black) cop shot a fellow human who also…
I think Ghandi said it best.
Yeah, that’s always been the advice of the greats that have actually led social change. Gandhi and MLK always advised burn down that shit... that you actually paid for with money taken out of your check each week... cause, uh, that accomplishes... a lot.
It’all make people pay attention in a bad way. It puts the movement in a bad light. The community is served by those buses being destroyed and payed for with taxes from the community.
It does not help the cause when there are protests (riots) because a black man was shot and the initial story is “oh, he was reading a book”. The facts come out and....no he fucking wasn’t. He had a gun. I am not saying that there are not bad shootings, there clearly are. They shooting in Tulsa was very questionable.…
This is amazing satire
So civilians are injuring/killing other civilians. This is supposed to improve relations between police and the community?
Not a big fan of actual statistics, are you?
That matters not. If the cops tell you to put a gun down you must put it down, open carry state or otherwise.
It is in the article. Protestor killed protestor.
It seems perverse to me that you are openly rooting for the police to have murdered an innocent man rather than have engaged in the justified use of force.
The only person that I have seen that said he had a book was his daughter, who did not even witness the incident. I could possibly have missed someone else saying it, but the “he had a book” story is weak, at best from what I can tell.
At the point where someone has been killed, and multiple instances of looting are reported, it no longer seems appropriate to call it a “protest.”
I thought it was confirmed the man in Charlotte had a gun?
But...autonomous cars have no drivers...
