See my reply above...

You could make that argument for other car manufacturers too (Mitsubishi, Subaru...) because platform sharing means reduced development costs. My point was that Mazda doesn’t necessarily want to add those types of vehicles to their lineup (and become less focused on what they do best which is fun to drive economical

I have to agree. At least Chrysler has a bunch of decent products in different market segments. What does Mitsubishi have (at least in the US market)?

Not to mention they could use some Skyactiv technology for their small cars. I don’t really see what would be in it for Mazda though. They seem to be doing well enough as a small company.

#2 is build more cars like the Evo. From the original post: “There’s no point trying to be a Toyota/Nissan/Honda competitor, because Toyota and Nissan and Honda do that already. What should Mitsubishi do now?” ... I think Mitsubishi should try to compete with Subaru instead - they would keep the Evo and add some more

It’s the Japanese-spec Mustang, which prefers trees to people (a safety feature that’s not found in its American counterpart).

Since this is fantasy-land (for me anyway), why not have one for the track and one for the road? :)

From agony to pure joy.

This wouldn’t have happened in a Toyota because they’re grounded to the ground.

The design is pretty much perfect. There’s absolutely nothing I dislike on this car.

I’d buy one!

Lol wtf. That’s like putting a Hyundai badge on a Bentley.

I think it’s important to also consider the cost of owning these items. When you add in insurance, gas and depreciation, the car will cost a lot more than 18 grand in the long run. With that said, spending $18000 on a leather jacket is f’in stupid. I’ll take the Kia.

Now that’s what I call ‘stance’. However, haters gonna hate.

It’s not good but at least it’s not Force India bad either. And I think the color scheme helps somehow.

“No frills” indeed... this car needs some color. At least make the mirrors red or something!

1. Not having enough funds to modify my car the way I’d like to.

I’m also going to suggest Mazda3. You will not be disappointed. However, I’ve heard the Kia Forte is also worth a look.

If you’d prefer brown over that gorgeous blue, there’s something wrong...

I thought Toyotas were supposed to be grounded to the ground... that one landed upside down in a ditch.
