That is what I assumed he did, until I found out he had a much better idea... using his snowboard to gain traction was probably plan B though.

As they say, beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.

Good for you. It still doesn’t mean it’s a good idea for him to buy one.

Wow... reall? Is that what you’d buy your kid too?

He’s driving an old 4cyl Honda. I think he’d find the noise level acceptable ;)

What this guy said ^

Why not buy something more reliable, good on gas, but still fun and classy? My recommendation: Mazda6 Grand Touring.

No joke, those are probably the ugliest shoes I’ve ever seen (and that includes Crocs, which is saying a lot).

I bet the BMW driver was just trying to get out of the way of the guy behind him when he started switching lanes. Could he have been more careful? Perhaps. But the motorcyclist was breaking the law trying to pass him, on the right, especially at that speed...

Amen Jeebus!

You can get a pre-owned V6 Accord 6 speed for less than 15k! (I did and have 0 regrets.)

Does stereotyping an entire group of drivers who happen to enjoy driving a Mini but also want a convertible somehow make you feel better about your life? Because that’s just sad.

Is that orange-painted carbon fiber? The interior (and the accents on the exterior) look pretty cool!

Sorry but that particular picture does nothing to prove that body-colored beaks looked better than chrome ones :P (even though they definitely did!)

They brought one that’s already been crashed?!?!

Since the article is mostly about auto transmissions, I should add that the same holds true for autos. Since no one really wants their transmission to shift all the time (unless it’s so smooth you can’t really sense it) and most people are (for now) against CVTs, I think 10-12 gears is pretty much the max. Again,

I like my 6-speed (manual) gearbox, and with the speed limits in the US being pretty low I can’t imagine I’d really need 7 gears. You could say that more gears give you better acceleration, but as cars are becoming more and more powerful the case for more gears is becoming weaker.

I somehow just stumbled across this thread and share your feelings. I cannot stop reading this!

Not bad Pennzoil... not bad at all!

I’d call #2 Rosso Diavolo. Because sexy and Italian.
