The Robin Williams discussion led to them commenting about how the only way you can be described as young in your 60's is if you die. Guess Gary just wanted to be young again.

Plus at the manufacturer level you have to make sure you have a good sorting or separation between the parts so they don't go murdered out on one side and bling on the other. Did someone mention adding poka-yoke features?

As another said, try credit unions. When I bought my M3 it was 12 years old with 110,000 miles on it and I got a loan for $16,000 (registration and title included) on it. I think it was a full percent more than a comparable loan for a newer car but still not terrible.

It says in the article that it was a Subaru.

I just recently kicked the "I can't put X value into a car that's only worth Y" view. My view now is do I put more money into repairs than I would lose from depreciation and interest from a loan for a future car. It'd probably take a $1,000 to $1,500 repair for me to replace my car, so your $2,500 fix definitely would

Also requirements for prosecution in US vs. New Zealand likely plays into it

Agree and disagree. Amount of effort is just as half-assed, but the stereotype about thoroughness and rule following seems to be true to my experience. So everything takes longer because it's half-assed thoro

Our true war hero selected a moron for VP and ruined any chance he had.

Agreed, I’d say this and E46 M3 (I’m biased). Both cars are pretty much at the bottom of the depreciation curve unless it’s ultra low miles. 0-60 in <5 seconds, great handling, relatively practical all costing easily under 20k.

Luckily there’s no sunroof. That would be an unpleasant view to say the least.

Yet many people still seem to be seeing red.

I'm sure all the spectators were churro-ing for the police to stop them.

I had a roommate that pissed on my couch. After looking at the splash pattern and the lack of wet pants, it was concluded that he indeed pissed on it while standing. This was a year after he had a similar situation of peeing on his girlfriend’s laundry basket in the middle of the night.

I’m getting mixed signals about what exclusive means

I’d say your running backs should be switched. Half back is usually the agile one, full back is the pounder like John Kuuuuuhhhhhhhhn.

I can completely understand in the grand scheme of things it doesn’t seem like as big of a deal compared to other cases. But they still knowingly broke the law whether you agree with that law or not. And for all the TDI owners out there, this has hurt resale value and the not knowing what the hell is going to happen

In high school I wanted to go watch friends at an away basketball game during a snow storm. As I was picking up my girlfriend, my dad called and told me that the storm was too bad and that I had to come home right away. So I was extremely pissed off but I agreed to drive the mile back home despite thinking it wasn’t

Contact a local attorney you say? That means one that’s in Wisconsin and familiar with lemon laws... I’ll have to call Vince and his buddy George!

As a supplier, I was there yesterday taking pictures of all the heat exchangers I could spot. It was pretty amazing to see people pulling things apart, pulling out tape measures, and walking around with clipboards filled with tables to be filled out. We were more interested in what cars were using which technology

Legitimate question- Can an instructor advertise that they accept sex as payment, but turn down someone they don’t want to hold the "transaction" with? In the good ol’ USA there’d be a discrimination lawsuit pretty quick.
