Goes the other way too. The Japanese can be shameless about accessorizing or fetishizing other cultures. They don't get a pass for being non-white.

To be fair, and this is coming from a Philly-area sports fan, that is just standard Philly sports fan behavior (that is, the most idiotic and “cliche asshole Philly sports fan” of us).

This makes me wish some friendly city would turn itself into the Vegas of abortions, with totally cheap flights from everywhere and perhaps (dare I dream?) the actual Onion abortionplex sitting right in the center.

Y’all, I hate to bring it to your attention, but from my limited experiences out in the Real World these past few months, this sort of behavior isn’t limited to just airplanes.

At some point we’re going to start yelling at white people cosplaying as anime characters at conventions for insufficient woke-ness, aren’t we?

To add to the long list of reasons why I hate the orange turd who occupied the WH for 4 years, making wearing a mask a political thing is in the top 10.

that’s what the republicans want for the whole country.  The entire nation can be blue, but only the red parts get to vote.
