I think it's pretty debatable whether she's best known for AD or Parenthood. Both were low-rated shows with strong cult fanbases that kept them alive for longer than they might have been without them. AD is probably more influential on a wider scale but Parenthood lasted longer and she had a much bigger role on it.

I was worried about the show living up to the first season, but it's honestly exceeded it so far. They're expanding their universe in really fun ways. (Speaking of which, I loved the Hurricane Wanda shout-out tonight.)

Definitely one of the more creative ways of getting past the censors that I've seen.

You're an even worse judge than Abbi's figs

The season of Abbi killing it continues with her amazing tribute to American Idol.

God, Constance Wu is fucking amazing.

Same! Not saying everything worked, but overall it was a really great tribute that actually made me feel some feelings about the show for the first time in a long time.

I'm guessing it's a reference to Avenue D being a notorious drug haven (particularly in the mid-20th century time period Archer may or may not take place in!)

The types of shows that do well in syndication are broad appeal hits that you can half-watch in the background, not a niche dark comedy like Getting On. Streaming is the better option for shows like this living on post-cancellation.

Season 4 has been simultaneously consistently funny and kind of inessential. It's a fun half-hour every week but it doesn't feel must-see like it did during the back half of Season 1 and Season 2. It's still pretty good and at times great though so it's worth checking out still if you have the time.

Nicktoon movies were a staple of the 90s/early 00s…seem like they've dropped off though. Then again, Nicktoons in general have dropped off since then.

She has also mentioned the "really good sushi place in Penn Station" several times.

I think it's just because Ilana A) sits next to her and B) enjoys talking to people who are next to her.

I'm probably in the minority but I preferred Wisdom Teeth by a hair. Both are top notch comedy episodes though.

The last episode had a B+ community grade for a while too but it was too amazing for that to last. I assume the same will happen here.

This and Wisdom Teeth is the greatest 1-2 punch of comedy episodes in several years. Anyone who was calling for a sophomore slump definitely looks like an idiot now.

She wasn't saying anything inflammatory. She was complimenting him!

THIS IS THE HAPPIEST DAY OF MY LIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIFE

I mean, it was an honest mistake and Abbi shelled out $80 to try to fix it. At least some understanding would've been fine instead of whining about how cheap it was.

I love that Ilana and her mom were screaming at the cops for releasing them because they're "white as fuck."
