Yeah other than the strap on shenanigans, Abbi didn't really do anything wrong. It was pretty much 100% Jeremy's doing. I appreciated that Abbi didn't really give a fuck about it though instead of making it a big thing like most shows would.

I love that Season 2 has been expanding the universe and showing us what some of the side characters are like outside of their interaction with Abbi & Ilana.
Yeah this review seems to suggest that it's not possible for a show to be both silly and 'make big points', a suggestion I find kind of odd.
I'm mostly worried about it because it's where Selfie went to die and it doesn't have a timeslot companion, but I guess we'll see.
I liked this a lot more than the reviewer. I thought it was pretty hilarious and you could feel the Bitch 23 influence (same showrunner) even though it was still very much a family sitcom. It sucks that ABC is basically burying this but I hope it finds an audience anyway.
I think these short victory lap seasons are kind of perfect for these types of high-quality network comedies, and I'm sad Community doesn't look like it's going to get the chance to do the same.
The 2012 Superbowl actually had that huge Brotherhood of Man promo that put a huge spotlight on the Thursday night line-up of the time, which seems like a relic now despite only being 3 years old:
The funny thing is that Parks has easily outperformed every other comedy NBC has aired this year. Not that it's doing well, but way better than stuff like Marry Me and Bad Judge, and good enough that their rush to push it out the door looks even more ridiculous.
13 episodes. So we have 6 left.
He posted a ton of pictures about doing Jean-Ralphio for the last time so he'll definitely be showing up at some point.
I'm loving the parade of recurring characters they're bringing in for the last season. I really didn't think we'd see Lucy and Jen again, but I'm very happy I was wrong.
I wonder why that is though, why comedy is something TV in general seems to be much better at doing right than film. I guess maybe it works better in a long-term format when you acquire an affection and understanding for the joke style/characters? I don't really know.
8 is the last great season, for sure. 9 is a drop in quality but still pretty good on the whole, 10 is a further drop but still squeaking by as "good", and 11 is mostly pretty crappy.
I think this is part of why so many people say TV has surpassed film though. Most people aren't huge movie buffs and don't want to "look hard enough" to get to the actual good stuff. It seems like good TV is easier to find and gets more attention than good film, so if people are seeking out good entertainment they're…
Yeah I don't know why but film seems to have forgotten how to do comedy right completely. Even the good ones (like the Jump Street movies) don't even come close to the best comedies on TV.
Me too because comedy is objectively better than drama.
Yeah, there's a lot of dumbass famous people and all but Nancy Grace makes me the most angry. It's kind of perplexing how someone as genuinely stupid as her got her own TV show. Even the Fox News gang at least seems knowledgeable about the evil they're committing. Nancy Grace is just terrifyingly, dangerously clueless.
Also, unlike pot, it's pretty easy to die from.
Every time I try to get weed on my own I just end up like Abbi from Broad City. *walks around park* "Weed………weed…….weed?"
I mean, it just seems kinda unnecessary to disparage all pot smokers because you met a few irritating people who smoke pot.
