"are their lives really that shitty and uninteresting? Or, are they just a bunch of paid trolls"

I do remember talk about a Stretch Armstrong movie being in the same breath as a Monopoly movie, that Battleship movie and probably a few other half-remembered things my older brother probably played with as a kid.

Unfortunately the very individual-level considerations involved in so much of social work like this are ignored by the folks with the purse strings and the big mouths. -Obviously, this individual just didn't work hard enough otherwise Amazon would've kept him on!-

I've seen Humera being advertised like crazy, but I'm not quite sure it's for my situation. What's your experience with those injections? My situation seems to be mild enough that a routine of this foam would be appropriate (the little sample they gave me is great), but I'm curious.

Oh absolutely. I think it was the '08 or '12 elections where people in some town hall thing were complaining about 'big government & entitlements' and were asked if they were getting Social Security checks. They said yes, with no recognition of that dissonance.

Finally went to a dermatologist to get my previously-undiagnosed psoriasis treated. The past five or six years since it developed along my hairline I've been extremely self-conscious about it and have a totally unflattering hairstyle to cover it up. I'm hopeful this'll benefit me in more ways than one.

Other than the almost-compulsory ethical decisions (Generous amounts for family, enough for close friends, many millions for charities) I would seriously just join the idle rich and play videogames. I will need the rest of my life to finish everything I want to play.

It's mah right to be systematically exploited by systems far beyond mah understanding! The goverment can't take that away from me!!

The whole "Uplifting poor people by forcing them off benefits" thing is so horrendously considered it's a given that anyone who supports that shit has clearly never actually had to use social benefits of any kind.

The U.S. armed forces gain one more sterling recruit!

My six-month old niece is the absolute joy of my small family. She's getting better at sitting up, and she clearly wants to start saying words. Also she's warmed up to me considering I'm only here at my parents' house a few weeks out of the year!

Ah yes I remember this sort of over-analysis. There's nothing people want to read less than an overwrought think-piece that could just as easily be boiled down in an Entertainment Weekly article.

If we had someone with their fists on their waist we'd have a trifecta!

This entire show seems pretty familiar to an episode or two of both American Dad and Family Guy…

Is it a requirement that MacFarlane characters look like this? I mean there's that same half-lidded stare that's on all the other characters.

Wow, I really appreciate hearing the beginnings of the TI comment section! It's just about the top feature here I actively look forward to!

Dang, that 'Boyhood' nonsense you described is, like, actually the worst part of social media. How can people *viciously* argue about something that doesn't really matter? Some people seem to put their entire souls into what they post. It's just a movie! Why get upset??

Finished 'Papers Please' like I'd always promised myself I would.

The Very Numerous Number, a new book for children age 3-7

The scene during the 'Hakuna Matata' song in Lion King where Timon serves up all those bright, juicy bugs from out of that log. I mean, the bugs basically looked like Fruit Gushers!
