People like to do and/or things all the time like Beatles over Elvis or Great Gatsby over Catcher in the Rye. Which honestly aren’t always relevant, but I’ll add to that anyways.

Maybe it is an age thing, but I don’t need or want a gimmick to my bar. A good selection of bourbons, a good bartender if I want a cocktail, and not too crowded, so I can grab a seat.  

That’s definitely going on the list next time I’m back up in Minneapolis. We generally end up at Surly, but their food is getting far too hipster and it’s not as good as it was in the first year or two they moved to the East side.  Still my 2nd favorite brewery for beer of all time, though. (Bent Paddle, FTW)

I know this has been remarked on previously, but I take it as a sign of the dark times we live in that I cannot recall disagreeing with something Don Lemon has said over the last two full calendar years. I may now like Don Lemon. These are not words I thought I would ever say.
