I'd wager a guess that Eminem has never truly been an enemy of gay people, and probably has had a very minimal negative impact with anything he has said, even with an insanely large swath of impressionable followers.  Barely worth mentioning, when people like Mike Pence, Jerry Falwell, and hell, even Lindsey Graham

Honey, the right isn’t leading the charge on this or really any moral cause that stands up for and supports the gay community. Try again when Mike Pence isn’t a heartbeat away from the presidency.

Question though: if you need three tries to get your apology “right”, did you ever really get it right at all?

sigh, yet another casting debate where its going to boil down to:

Jeez, she’s really milking this. She briefly worked alongside someone who committed a crime, who was punished for that crime with time in prison. Nothing happened to her, she was never in any real danger, her life is exactly the same now as it was before.

The same liberals crying "ban the box" so convicted criminals can re-enter the workforce are the same hypocritically backing Munn here. Either convicted criminals who have served their times should get a fair second chance or none of them should.

People do not inherently deserve apples. They do not inherently deserve to see a baseball game. It is not the responsibility of box owners to give them to people in such a way that those people can all get the same thing. It is not the responsibility of those who sell access to a baseball game to make it easier to see

This is the epitome of trying too hard to make something a thing.

The notion that popular films are never nominated and don’t win seems overstated.

Meh. He served his time and didn’t actually do anything to anybody on set. This is a nothingburger.

Not to mention that it seemed like the whole thing was ABC (Disney) trying to push AMPAS. “We’re going to get tons of shit for it,” AMPAS said back to Disney, I imagine, and Disney said “No it’ll be fine” and after a month AMPAS is like “I fucking told you” and Disney’s like “Sorry I’m on another call *click*” and

Thank you for writing a sane article. The one on Jezebel left me feeling relieved that I’d already been banned.

he just walked in, told the night’s emcee that he wanted to go on, and the emcee just let it happen because CK is famous enough that he’s allowed to do that.

Look at this thread. The anti-RLM crowd is being nasty and flinging personal attacks, while the pro-RLM crowd is largely saying “hey, we like this youtube channel, but if you don’t, that’s fine.” I’m sorry you’re apparently in the “you disagree with my opinion, so your opinion is invalid” camp. Hugs! ;)

if you googled Kinja and RLM or Plinkett, odds are there will be a comment somewhere from this guy letting everyone know how terrible he thinks RLM is. Deep down he really wishes he could just call them misogynist racists and be done with it, but that’s a bridge too far even for him, so he will continue to hammer home

So I just watched it. I’m a huge defender of TLJ, and Mikes criticism tends to skew towards the nitpicky (Jay is usually more fair in his critiques), but I have to admit that some of what he said against the film made a lot of sense to me. Particularly, he points out all the weird little plot holes and nonsense logic i

HBO “documentaries” were extremely NewYork-centric back then - everything was “this is what’s going on in the country” but it was more like “this is what bored rich NYU dropouts are doing with their cash”.

This is an unfairly loaded statement:

Well it kind of snuck up on me. I just (possibly stupidly or naively) thought that somehow “they” working on getting all the content streamized and that in this brave new world disks were obsolete and why did I need filthy old disks around taking up space and gathering dust and who needed and extra machine around when

My mind boggles at what it must be like for the staff of the dinosaur politicians who probably don’t use email to prep them for these yell-at-tech-I-don’t-understand sessions.
