The ironic thing is that they’re about to open a new Whole Foods near downtown Richmond. Wonder how that grand opening day is gonna turn out...
If I want to risk getting hurt in my own Jimmy, just let me accept that and buy it
Eh who cares ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Honestly
Wait what the hell. I never knew this was a thing! That’s awesome! Has any other automaker had a long running engine like that?
I know someone who owns a 1915 Haynes, and the family who originally owned it had their last initial stitched into the roof fabric. You could get that level of customization in those days.
How do they keep a car “new” throughout the years? Do they occasionally fire it up and drive it around just to keep everything lubricated and in order? (I’m sure there’s lots of little metal places that can corrode if it just sits)

Had a 1999 Trooper for 202k miles, nothing ever seriously wrong with it. But! The V6 was a slightly underpowered gas guzzling oil burner, so I could see a restomod going really well for the thing. The rest of it was great.
Is the main issue that even if the idea was considered, corporate doesn’t want to associate performance with a car that is almost most definitely certainly for carrying kids? I feel like with a sedan you can slide the argument a bit, but I feel like the van has always been the safe family car and high performance seems…
Hey thanks for taking my suggestion! Wish I could see more of these from this era rolling around
Please let me know what he says.
