Still think calling it the Thunderbird would’ve been cooler
Still think calling it the Thunderbird would’ve been cooler
Ok.. did anyone else see multiple NSFW ads on this page? Never seen it on jalopnik before
Agree 100%. I will say though that my previous ride was a 1999 Trooper, and after a while you sortof get used to it. Still, that thing was a top-heavy tank.
I honestly, naiively hope they’re right about the sedan market.
I was going to have 2 drinks tonight. Now I will have more.
This is the correct suggestion
The mentioning of cameras reminded me of a video that Jalopnik posted YEARS ago (something like around 2013 or so) where someone took some fashioned RC big-rigs, put them in snow and grass/shrubs, and put a camera inside one from the driver’s perspective. The detail on the rigs was so good the whole scene was quite…
What a fucking mocker-e. It literally looks like they took a mustang, grafted the body on the top of your generic SUV platform, put it in a microwave, and let the body panels meld together.
I hate it. By the way if I told someone I have the Ford Mustang Mach-E SUV I would sound like the stupidest idiot on the planet. (if I don’t sound like that already)
They aren’t pleased.
Couldn’t agree more honestly.
Here’s a beef with performance car pads I have - they start squealing the moment it gets < 60 F outside. I do some track events with my car (has brembos) but its mostly my DD, how do you fellow Jalops deal with it?
When I was scoping out a manual V8 GT, it took quite a while, and most of the time there was only one at the dealership amongst the other configs of the model.
Oh lord -_-
I know at least the 1997 car had what looked like train wheels for its wheels, so I always thought they just cut their way through the rough stuff like a pizza cutter.
I dare you to make a production car with this clear of a front end.
With owning an S550 V8 manual, you definitely get alot of transmission noise (which is part of the fun!), it's funny to picture what it would be like fairly silent.
Patrick commented on this, and he mentioned that they are fighting against it as well, but need help. Email tips@jalopnik.com with your complaint about them, and they have the ability to forward it on. Comments here do nothing as far as the parent company is concerned.
My current one, learned stick right before buying it.
3.73 ratio is ideal IMHO, and you baaasically don’t need 1st gear in the day-to-day unless you’re on an incline.
