Here’s my beef with my center console. If you put any type of beverage at all in the cup holder, it blocks your stick shift arm. Annoys plenty of friends! Not sure how they’d design it differently though...

I feel like you and I have the same opinions as far as design goes - you pretty much hit the nail on the head with each brand.
