    You seem fun.

"What struck me so strongly after that show, and two decades after this record, is how much Grohl taps into the saving power of rock music."

Oh man, rewatching the Everlong video. I love the extended ending.

I love hearing him do it live. Only on TV for me, somehow haven't seen them "live," but it's amazing.

    I'M NOT SCARED

Before reading the article, all I have to say is this:

I like your thinking. I feel like I don't need to watch trailers as much anymore, either. Like Thor. I'm gonna go see it. Why spoil more and more of the movie?

    eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

I've missed big chunks of it. Hoping it's on Netflix within a couple weeks like the previous two seasons and I can watch it in that format, I think it'll help. I've still enjoyed what i've seen.

"but still doesn’t excuse just how inconsequential the ensemble is here."

I am moderately considering seeing the new Pirates movie in the theatre!

    no.

I have no desire to watch season 5, but I do need to watch that episode. Goddammit.

I was so surprised by the Other Guys. Checked it out on a random late night "what the fuck I do watch, Netflix?" moment and loved the shit out of it. It had me from the opening "MY HERO" music cue to Rock and Jackson's big jump.

That would make it MORE cool.

If he dies that way, he'll be lionized and sainted and never receive his just exposure and punishment.

God fucking dammit, what a waste of good steak.

    CAPITAL LETTERS

    Are you being sarcastic, dude?

I'm gonna dig up and read "Town", sounds good. I found another good book about it called "Grunge is Dead: The Oral History of Seattle Rock Music" from a used book store, awesome collection of interviews. But yeah it really shows just how shitty the scene was, and how the politics and heroin ruined it.
