It’s so weird. I actually gave up on Bojack initially after the first few episodes. It was friends raving about its later pathos that convinced me to give it another shot.

I just REALLY like most of the free Teargarden stuff and he's totally buried it. Bothers the hell out of me because I think it was some of the best SP music in a decade. The Fellowship, Lightning Strikes, Owata, Song for a Son, Tom Tom.

It's pretty good, I agree. It's got too much filler on it and two really crappy songs. That said though it's overall solid with some good standouts, and an overall nice "sound." Monuments was too sparse without enough good, you know, songs.

I'm down. thefutureembrace is a decent album; zwan (while not technically a solo album) is really good. It will probably be a better choice than another SP album at this point.

Uh, because a ton of turtles are fucking endangered and on the brink because of fucking overfishing? I mean, this an entire article about WHY DID WE STOP and the simple reason is given about three lines. Jesus christ.

damn, awesome write-up. Excellent analysis of his relationship with Sarah Lynn.

Eh, feels like there's no point in doing an overall review without the whole series. I get it, critics are receiving four episodes for review, but with only eight in the season I imagine (hope?) that the overall show is tighter.

I don't disagree. I did LIKE season 3 a lot, and honestly ended up quite surprised that they were able to pull it off. The sequence where Charlotte discovers Bojack and Penny remains traumatizing to me! I watched it probably 5 times in a row, in utter shock. Powerful. So season 3 seeming to go even darker made some

I'm uneasy about Bojack season 4 for those very reasons. They can't repeat the same arc. Every season has been Bojack allllllmost getting there, then fucking it up, to the absolute nth degree in s3. S4 doesn't need a happy go lucky ending but there needs to be an actual turn to the character and the arc or it's going

AND TIMOTHY DALTON DEVOURING THE SCENERY WITH A LITERAL KNIFE AND WORK (NOT ACTUALLY LITERAL BUT HE MIGHT AS WELL HAVE BEEN).

    SWAN!

I'm sorry, you need to write at least 800 more words on hot Fuzz.

True. The lakinis juice video alone…

    No such thing.

    It really is!!

It's an album that, imo, had a lot of deep cuts beyond the radio singles. Waitress, shit Towne, stage, etc.

Good point. I don't think rbf was ever even close to the level of insane radio play and celebrity of those groups. I mean, I didn't learn about them until baseketball. Those other three were inescapable. A little baffling indeed. Even if you're not a fan. :)

    "hey dude

"Slick shoes? You're crazy, those'll never work!"
