Never did see it but heard good things. I should check it out.

Sorry, wait, beneath the overwrought and pretentious writing, is Rabin trying to say zoolander was NOT a funny fucking movie?

    Yep.

I agree, arya. If you dig n this is the era where radio really started downsizing playlists. I'm sure hits were overplayed all the time through the decades but I believe statistically, as a result of intentional radio decisions, it became and is worse.

You know, I mean, I can't stand All-Star at this point, but fucked if we weren't jamming it all summer 15 years ago. It's time is gone but I can't really understand these folks on a mission to hate Smashmouth. They're many things, but hate-worthy? Naaaah.

Ghey. I've gotta put that in my dream journal.

I think it's less the voice itself and the specific delivery for Bob. As both he and Frasier are "high brow" characters there is that crossover, but Bob is certainly more over-the-top in his mannerisms.

    Maris?

    Oh, do your research Shutton!

I watch it on Netflix, so I have no opinion. I only checked out the review to see what episode number it was at and was surprised by the end of the review suggesting it was the season (series?) finale.

Wait, what? The season is only ten episodes long?

    AND I SAW THE BEAST

But good LORD he is so good in Grosse Point Blanke.

It really is. I'm sure there is a significant audience that only knows green lantern from the jl cartoon. John Stewart *is* gl to them. Same with Starfire from teen Titans. Movie and cartoon portrayals probably mean significantly more than "read comics thirty years ago."

I dunno, I like cover songs, and all that, but maybe write your own effing songs.

I dunno. It seems dishonest and disingenuous to tell readers it's changed forever when they know and we know it's not. Part of the problem may be the pr stunt nature of some of these storylines. Tell a good story, tell us it's going to be a good story, but don't lie about what it really is. I don't think that's

It's fine for a storyline, but I am again frustrated with the editorial take on it. The words coming from Marvel's editorial say, as the review quoted, THIS IS REAL, THE REAL CAP! And they say things like Oh this story has been in the works for years, it's totally real, it's the way it was, you'll see.

Yeah it really does feel rushed and choppy at the very end. It's pretty obvious Marvel was not into what he was doing. It's a bummer either way, but hey.

I think when season 3 clicks onto Netflix I'll give it a watch through. Thanks!

Thanks! Sounds like a good creative combo.
