They probably need a minimum amount of money to pay off the loan on it.

The same way they afford an Xbox and a game?

They need to UN-verify games when patches make them run like utter butt on the Deck. Evoland, for instance. It’s Verified! .. but a patch after that introduces multiple SECONDS of input lag after pressing a button.

The ending to ME3 sucked, but the ending wasn’t as annoying as all the whining about the ending.

Playing Dark Forces didn’t require ‘fan-created source ports’. You could just buy the original on GOG instead. It’s been there for years.

Read the novelization of Wishbringer. There’s a charming grue in it.

Starter motors are still a kind of heavy cylinder thing bolted to the side (or in the vee, or under the intake manifold wtf) of an engine connected to 12 volt power and actuated by a relay.

I think it’s pretty dumb to fail an emissions test for a code on a non-emissions component.

Some cars turn off the 12 volt socket when the engine stops. For me, this is annoying. For my mom, it turns off her oxygen concentrator while it reboots to switch to battery power, then again when the engine restarts.

We should switch to Rankine, just to really annoy *everyone*.

The disc is just an installer client. It downloads the rest.

Neat! Visual novel style games aren’t my thing - I like my smut games to have more meat to the gameplay (you can take that as a pun, or not) but getting paid well for writing porn in ANY form is doing way better than average! It’s not an easy field to be in.

Since you say you had fun with it, here’s wishing you more

What exactly is wrong with $20 skins? It’s cosmetic. If someone thinks ‘hey, that looks cool!’ and looking cool is worth $20 to them, then that’s not a bad value.

...okay, what game was it? Enquiring minds want to know!

I love a good Far Side reference.

While it’s a bummer for anyone who was looking forward to this, and to those working on it who don’t get to see their work released, I do like it when a company goes ‘This isn’t working, let’s eat our loss and do something else’ rather than endlessly try to make something with it and releasing muddled crap.

Uh, wut? More hills would make me use my physical brakes *more*.

Well, you might be enthused about spirited driving on weekends but consider your commute a boring slog maybe?

I drive an EV and I only use my brakes once on my 70 mile roundtrip commute, to stop at the bottom of a particularly steep hill. Normally I just take my foot off the pedal. If I need to stop a bit faster, I’ll pull the regen boost paddle.

Am I the only person flailing my arms going ‘A katana is not a wakizashi! They are different things!’ ?
