I don’t understand why people have been waiting so long to get a Real ID. If you have the proper documentation, it only takes about 15 minutes. Then, they mail the Real ID to you.

Maybe it’s just me but I like working in an office at my desk and I happen to like my coworkers too. It’s better than staring the same 4 walls at home day and night. Even if I worked from home a couple of days a week, I’d still want to go into the office the rest of the time.

I think the big point here that should be focused on is not that more highways = more traffic, but to look at the reasons why there’s more traffic and tackle them directly. One thing is that they can’t show that adding highways caused the traffic, or that traffic wouldn’t have gotten even worse without adding them.

It is so so amazing to see this Free Valve tech finally make it into a production vehicle... I remember writing about that stuff when he was developing it in that Saab wagon when I was in college lol, feels like ages ago. Christian’s name will undoubtedly go down in car geek history for all of his unbelievably complex…

No don’t do it. I bought mine for $6k then had another $5k into it in parts. then after getting it back together the front AC pusher fan relay got stuck on and caught fire. insurance only gave me $4K.  

The real reason for flying boats was the fixed pitch prop. Prior to adjustable pitch props you had either a climb or cruise prop, if you wanted to be able to cruise at altitude at a decent speed and at a low cruise RPM you needed a flat pitch prop. This was the equivalent of fifth gear in a car and just like top gear…

How about bringing the GTE to US shores?  I’d be all over a sporty plug-in hybrid hatch.
