I am probably in the minority but I like Toyota’s drum brakes. No warping, little maintenance (until you have to do it, granted it’s annoying then), good power. My friend and I swapped discs onto the rear of his 4Runner and can barely tell a difference.
If only there were a group of people that we could elect every few years to represent us and create laws that are in everyone’s best interest. Unfortunately I’m not aware of any such group that exists in this country.

The thing is, it wasn’t “terrible.” It just wasn’t concerned about ever acting like a normal car. It had a great engine, great brakes, and it looked better than any other car on the road. Those were its mission objectives and it accomplished them spectacularly.
