The car is the shit you’ll fuck up. If these are anything at all like every XC to date, the philosophy is as follows: “Let’s lift up our standard wagon, give it part time AWD, some big tires and a bunch of frippy shit, and upgrade nothing to accommodate the increased load.”.

Ivan Stewart 2020.

In fairness to the B52, that one was the Mustang’s fault. It was just trying to leave the short-term lot at the airport, then... disaster.

Counterpoint: no it isn’t.

They are stunning, hence the value. The 206s and early 246 Dinos had the purest lines, with no sidemarkers and pre-”Chairs & Flares”, when they got wheelarch extensions. I like the GT4's myself, but they’re not to most tastes in the Ferrari world, though they’re gaining appreciation.

Slight clarification:

First rule of SLO club: Don’t talk about SLO club. Like surfing, SLO sucks, don’t try it.

Silver lining: This guy can’t reproduce now. Thanks, internet moron, for your voluntary sterilization.

I don’t know why everyone finds them to be so difficult. The hardest part is stretching the springs on reassembly, sort of a pain in the ass, but with the right pliers and a little leverage not such a big deal. I mean, you could be doing inboard discs on an Alfa or Jag, which properly suck.

I like to keep a set of these in the truck, just in case.

I thought it was because Lucas engineered the boards and they kept letting all the smoke out.

That’s the car. Yours is right on the money for assumed driveline loss on old Q’s. I may be an UrS4 owner before too long, a friend has a rough one that needs some love.

It never gets old, I used to have an UrQ and still have a 4000, plus may end up with an UrS4 before too long. It’s a disease.

Still is a really cool car.

It is indeed.

Oh, it wasn’t a 1.8T, it’s a built AAN five cylinder. Those engines can be monsters on a level 1.8Ts can only dream of. Garrett GT38 turbo, practically as big as my head. It drove like a total grandma car around town, but when it spoiled up it was like when Starship Enterprise goes to warp and the stars all become

*head gaskets gently weep

Hey, hey, this isn’t fair. A Delorean would have to be running to make that kind of power.

I have a bit of an analogy there with a heavily modified older Audi...

Or the 427 L88 Corvette, though the gross rating is questionable. Rated 430 or something, legend has it they were good for over 100 more.
