As much as I loved Car Talk, this isn’t true unless the shifter is on the transmission. In our BMWs, they’re a foot behind it, with plastic and rubber bushings, so vertical load on the shifter really has no effect. Still not a good habit, but it does no harm in our case.

They’re doing it wrong.

Maybe they can call Volkswagen for advice on how to do it faster and cheaper.

I’ve got this Cleveland steamer...

That’s right up there with the first Faster as my all time favorite bike doc. It’d be hard to top.

Very much so, it’s on Netflix now. Not to be missed, I’ve watched it 3 times now.

Thanks for getting that, beat me to it.

Can you guys just put him on the payroll?

This is exactly what we need, I’m excited. Formula E doesn’t really do it, you need some showbiz in there.

Porsche is going to want their batteries in the back, which will be incompatible with anyone else’s platform needs.

As an engineer, you’re doing it wrong. You’re supposed to propose a maddeningly complex means of doing something very simple, which fails to take into account the perfectly adequate means of accomplishing the task which already exists. This sense-talk is out of character.

Boyfriends will get you in trouble, every time. Or at least keep you from getting off with just a warning.

Just try that with a Quattro. I volunteer mine, it’s already beat to shit and filled with scaffolding, so no mere Lada will kill it.

The front page is a silly place.

Those were gold. So many scratch pads used up learning that stuff.

I think I have the Fiero issue! The boyfriend did you a great favor there.

Haha, the one, the only...

No kidding? I used to read CC religiously too, haven’t seen it on a newsstand in years though.

Many less than the torques it possesses.

I see what you did there.
