I saw snow on the beach in Santa Cruz once, in about 2006. People were losing their minds. Coming over 17 with snow on the summit was a joke. So many people on the side of the road in nothing more than a dusting.

And I do love the Sierras. I often wish for snow down here on the coast, to no avail. Had to be posted though.

I was stuck in LA traffic in January once, and my AC stopped working. It was horrible! I had to roll the windows down, and it was, like, so hot.

If they want more viewers, maybe they could just open up the rules to encourage involvement by manufacturers other than the big three and Toyota. Race on city street circuits and in Mexico and South America to cultivate the interest of viewers who aren’t in the South. Take a hint from V8 Supercars, it works.
