Republicans will no doubt prove what spineless shells of humans they are and vote DeVos in. Party over Country. Money over Children.

You’re supposed to ride the chopsticks down the noodle as your slurp them up, so that the ends of the noodles don’t flip around.
If I were Obama I’d show up to every official event in the most colorful Kenyan garb possible.
Just put your face as close to the bowl as possible when doing it. You’ll get less broth everywhere.
Why not Ben Affleck vs. Mel Gibson?
Ashe is the main character.
Damn right he is
I probably should have been clearer when I said “significant events happen off-screen.”
In no other mainline FF game, apart from XIII, does this happen.
In VI, we get every sequence of note that occurs within the Empire, whether or not the player’s party is there to witness said events.
In VII, we get asides with…
Honestly, I’m not sure it would be possible to fix without massive rewrites. The writing starts failing as soon as Noctis has basically no reaction to his father’s death other than in one short cutscene (which can happen after days or hours of running around doing fetch quests and joking with the boys later, robbing…
For me, it’s dead last of the mainlines. I do feel feel the plot was a mess, the character cast wasn’t nearly as large or diverse as I’ve come to expect from a FF game. Same four guys the entire party all (more or less) from the same country/culture/background.
I’m going to reference my profession, just once, to contextualize what I’m going to say next: I have spent the last decade as a professor of Literature (and Rhet/Comp, but whatevz).
I say that to say this: Final Fantasy XV is by turns a brilliant, revelatory, and absolutely necessary change in direction for a franchise…
I sold the game ten hours in after deciding it wasn’t for me.
This only works if the narrative is cogent and whole--which, outside of having watched the movie(s) and played the demo(s), it is absolutely not.
Don’t get me wrong, I love me some FF XV, but as a stand-alone product, its narrative is the equivalent of a high school creative writing student’s “look how talented and…
Sounds like the normal typical behavior of anime fans that sit on the floor of Barnes and Noble and read manga for 5 hours straight.
SuMo has done away with loads of franchise staple concepts, and my favorite is the disposal of the “traditional” villain group. Frankly, Team Skull is simply not the true “villain team” - it’s very clearly the Aether Foundation who are the actual villains, and Team Skull is nothing more than a group of ragtag…
That settles it then.
That’s a symptom of most internet (or even irl) discussions. Personal attack over critical thinking. It’s sad because it removes the opportunity to have good debates.
I’ll be straight with you, so do I(or at least, I should be in the next year). But it’s pointless talking to people who already intent on hating on things that doesn’t cater to their liking.
It sure is.
I have a degree in cinema studies.
