Not even remotely the same thing. I like Xenosaga but that shit had nowhere near the money, manpower or status that FF7 does.

It did, and then they had to start over from scratch in 2017 when they weren’t pleased with CC2's work. Considering that means FF7-1 as developed by Square only took about 3 years, I’m pretty damn impressed considering it’s going to be a roughly 40 hour game, not counting optional content.
Square can definitely be…
I’m not too much of a Square fanboy but I can’t stand needless cynicism, it makes me tired and I don’t understand how it doesn’t get to the people who engage in it.
I’m pretty calm but I’m sorry if my comment came off as aggressive. I *am* tired of the rampant cynicism and negative speculation that seems to surround this game, though.
I expect at least a parts of Midgar to be accessible in future games. Why? Because it was sooo expensive to produce that they might as well re-use…
I could say the same thing about people comparing this to FFXV when the development environment and the company’s circumstances are drastically different than they were then.
But it won’t take as much time as figuring out what the game will look like, how the game will play, what the story will be like and how to work with the engine.
I wish more people realized this instead of talking out of their sense of irrational anxiety and Nomura disdain.
Kingdom Hearts isn’t a good guide because that game has about ten games in its franchise instead of the what will realistically be three or four, suffered slow development as a result of executive mismanagement(from Yoichi “Call of Duty player” Wada) and is a constant collaboration between two large companies as…
Midgar carries a large amount of thematic and physical density that other locations in the game don’t particularly need to. We don’t need to spend as much time in Costa Del Sol, Corel or Gongaga as we need to in Midgar. A fair amount of the time was spent developing Midgar because it plays a bigger part in the plot…
Except they made Dragon Quest XI recently, which features almost all of those things so not really.
You literally have no basis or proof to support that
Problem with that reasoning is that there largely still lots of games where you see sexual expression and near nudity including Soul Calibur 6, one of my favorite games of last year. They even removed the censorship on DMC
I’m more likely to criticize the Evo stream because those women were clearly of age and weren't just being groped like they were in a Meet n Fuck game
Doesn it seem like this is largely affecting games with clearly sexualized underage characters often being put in nonconsensual situations?
Literally any ramen place will keep them in separate containers for delivery, it’ll be fine.
Glad to hear! I’m having a good amount of tension with Standard but I’m looking forward to trying out Hardcore. I think this game is balanced super well overall though.
And I can’t feel that way because Paul Mercier, who voices Leon in RE4, is the definitive voice actor for the character and never voiced him again. But that was a valuable lesson because it basically taught me to be more flexible with what I perceive to be sacred with characters. New guy for REmake 2 does a fine job!
The main issues the game has judging by this review come from a willingness to let the game break away from its predecessor’s identity which is the right move, imo.
I don’t want this game to give me tank controls, pre-rendered backgrounds or shifting camera angles. For anyone who does...there’s always the original, you…
Hey man don’t kink shame
Good piece to wake up to. Rough, but real as fuck.
