You’re right. Weird thing is, I read the article before posting but just the mention of Dynasty Warriors had me apprehensive at the thought of a game with so many cool influences having a DW combat system.
I’ve played newer Warriors games. I’m not saying they don’t have any depth. But the combat itself is little more than spectacle and auto-combos. It isn’t a combat system with depth. Try to argue against it, but, at least from what I’ve played, most every aspect of the Dynasty Warriors games is better than its combat.…
