I think Dr strange should get more credit. Cumberbatch does a great job at playing an asshole bigshot who can't understand his powers. I do think he should have been introduced in age of Ultron though

And certain things about Deadpool already haven’t aged well.
You gotta admire the cunning though. The announcement that Disney will stream its “entire” library is kinda boring, but also one of those fundamental bits of actual information that a site like AV Club is sort of obligated to report.
Looks like my DVD set with this episode just skyrocketed in value
Remember: if we scrub the world of art featuring Michael Jackson, pedophilia will go away!
Lots of shows get pulled, but most shows are not The Simpsons. It would be noticed, especially with it disappearing off popular platforms like Simpsons World. Hell, I was actively wondering the last couple weeks if it might get pulled. A statement about it kind of makes sense.
Having watched the documentary I sympathize with the impulse here, but I don’t think this is the right way to handle it. I can maybe see pulling it from syndication, etc., where the absence of context might create the impression that the people who made the episode don’t know or care about the revelations that came…
This won’t undo anything he did.
Not to mention his Max Headrom-esque cameo in Back to the Future II.
I don’t think that’s the right decision. The man’s legacy is complicated, to say the least, but this seems like a bit of a reach. Next you’ll tell me nobody will air Men in Black II anymore, of if they do it won’t feature his cameo. There’s a point where this all gets silly, and I think we’re there.
Regardless of whether or not they end up including it as part of their streaming service (my guess: they won’t), you can rest assured that Mr. Barsanti will be absolutely miserable!
I started watching that thinking “Sure, but do they combine into a giant ball for some reason?”, and then they did. Mind. Blown.
Wasn’t that kind of the point of Clerks II?
View Askew is the film equivalent of Weezer. Heyday was 20+ years ago, won’t go away, won’t grow up, makes millions regardless. What is life?
Comic book characters, snarky commentary and prolonged adolescence are a multi-billion dollar industry and arguably the biggest influence on pop-culture for the last 10 years. As a result, these characters that were lovable outsiders in 2001 may now just come across as two more drops in the incel/gamer…
Best episode of the season, hands down. I can’t think of a single sketch tonight where I didn’t get at least one good laugh in. Hader sticking around after the cold open for arguably the funniest game show skit in ages was just the cherry on top.
They let James Earl Jones get away as children, and now’s he back, twenty years later murdering kids and the only thing that can stop him is the Sandlot Gang.
2 Sand 2 Lot
The funny side to this attitude is that since the advent of the video recorder, the marketing push by studios for Oscar movies has been based on removing the need for Academy voters to ever set foot in an actual theatre!
Is it just me or has Jordan Peele directed only ONE (1) movie? How is he on a roll or anything of the sort? I love Get Out, it’s an instant classic ... but then, so was The Sixth Sense.
