Who is the audience for this and how is it on your list of best queer coming of age movies before it’s even been released?

Till wasn’t my favorite movie of the year, but I don’t think it’s at all fair to call it exploitative. The murder itself was not shown, and while Emmett’s body was shown it was in the same spirit as Mamie Till-Mobley demanding an open casket. This isn’t Them-levels of trauma porn.

Oh God, I hate this one. First of all King is right if you don’t like it don’t take part. The protesters of this book are honestly Kissin cousins of those loons against Drag Queen Story Time in libraries. If you don’t want your kids to be read to by a Drag Queen don’t bring them.

Okay, I get nostalgia’s big these days, but like...why this? I was obsessed with gaming from a young age and would play damn near anything, but even I could see that these games were shit. So add this to the pile of reasons not to go into a Gamestop, I guess, right next to the mountains of Funko Pop.

His story is held together with paste and rubber bands.  It’s pretty obviously total bullshit.

I moved away after 4 years but my husband had lived there for 14 when we moved. He was one of the last holdouts of his friends. We left to have kids, which seems to be the #2 reason to leave NYC with #1 being to move to LA.
