After I saw that movie, I IM'd a friend of mine: "Did you see 'Mulholland Drive'?" "Yeah" "I just watched it. What was it about?"

I was just about to leave a comment with that in it but you did it for me!

If I were a crook, I'd be that guy. With his awesome hat.

Delightfully over the top.

Yeah, I have to agree with that. Also, Susan Sarandon welding. Fuck yeah.

Also, based on the number of times I've seen this article today, "CANNIBAL RATS" is the new "make your thing go viral" term for this week.

While it's in international waters, nobody has an incentive to do so. Once it was out of Canadian territorial waters, the Canadians said (paraphrasing) "it's out of our waters and poses no threat to our shipping lanes, eh?"

Well, at this point, I assume it's full of rat corpses. As for the ship: If the EPIRBs haven't triggered on the remaining lifeboats, then it's entirely possible it's still above water somewhere. I don't *think* rats would eat the EPIRB, but who knows.

Oh God, that "first-person shooter game" camera work makes me sad.

I am so looking forward to a second season of that. (I'm pretty sure they're making a 2nd season - it was supposed to start production this month)

She was also great in the BBC show "The Fall", which is a crime show (not sf/f genre). It's on netflix streaming in the US.

You would rock that ensemble so hard.

I haven't seen the 1956 version. The 1984 version of "1984" was so very good, with Richard Burton smooth and evil and insidious, like the underside of a big soft spider against your tongue.

Yeah, he's doing some neat stuff.

First off, the Kellers can just fuck off. I mean, seriously.

Floss more. You come from a long line of people with bad teeth and implants are expensive.

I am *loving* Camryn Manheim as a badassed villain. Love love love it.

Wait, seriously? This isn't some kind of shared reddit hoax? (I'm old and listened to too much loud stuff when younger, so my upper range hearing is shot, so I can't tell for myself.)
