Outstanding!

Finally saw this last night (halloween!), and my GOD Julianne Moore does a great job. Moretz has clearly moved from "good child actor" to "really solid actor". And Doubleday gives great psycho.

I don't think they were implying nuke war. The bad thing was the Kessler cascade which took out all the communications satellites. Which were orbiting close to the orbit of the ISS, which was at about the same level as the Hubble. Because, you know, it's like that up there. Geosynchronwhat?

Hm. A couple. I saw "Alien" in the theater at a too-young age, realized what was happening in the chestburster scene, and ended up leaving after that. I also left "Poltergeist" - I was older, but for some reason it just freaked me the fuck right out.
