your ghetto friend, eh?

It sucks.

What was funny about it was that all of their pitches were the exact pitches for the other Superbowl commercials. Watch it again, it's a pretty funny way to call the other ad gimmicks lame ("let's send someone into space!" "let's crowdsource!" "let's do gangnam style!" etc).

I've been "actually sexually assaulted." I agree with all of Lux Libson's statements in this thread.

Same here…Noel and Scott, were you guys SERIOUSLY emotionally affected by that? At our house it was met with "oh come on."

Hear hear — and that's what bugs me about these ad analyses. If we're not in the boardroom at an ad agency, who are we kidding? These things can be well-shot, funny, all of that, but ultimately they're all brochures. I can't believe people can be affected by commercials.

I would have been anti-inspired by that cruise line restaurant too. Yech.

"Q-sine," God, gag. The chefs looked like they were trying really hard not to say mean things when they were eating it…then Padma came out and was like, "did you like your meal? Well guess what—"

The pic of teenage Sheldon at Disneyland tho…!

I am so tired of the chefs cooking for 200 people every challenge! SO TIRED!

What if the past season was all short stories written by Darryl to cope with losing the lottery?

What is with you people and your hard-on for "authenticity"?

lmao

The contests seemed backwards too — good sushi is a thing of the Gods, while every home cook has tried their hand at fried chicken

It was not cool of the judges/producers to say "make fried chicken, do whatever you want," and then later admit "we just wanted a good traditional fried chicken." When you just ask for fried chicken, even if you admit a slight preference for traditional, you're going to end up with all these creative chefs trying to

Oh shut up. Live events use pre-recorded tracks a lot of the time; I'm actually impressed that she was planning on NOT going with it until the last minute.

I don't understand it either to be honest :( and I also didn't get why Brooke and Liz didn't say something…I realize there might have been some strategizing in the moment, but I'M the kind of person who would have started screaming once Kristen tried taking all the blame.

According to Tom and Gail's blogs, they were REALLY looking for a reason, ANY reason, for Josie to go home. If Kristen had blamed Josie, I don't think they would have insisted that the buck stopped with her…especially if they got the full story on Josie's time-management issues and hard time working with others.

!! you're right! that should have been part of this episode! they made it 15 minutes longer too — so why not ??!

i LOLed at that girl in the restaurant who was like "ohhh when i had this in 'the village' it was different! weird!" haha because it's not actual balut, it's a play on balut, duhhhh…
